3 arrested in undercover drug investigation

COWARD, SC (WMBF) - Three men are under arrest in Coward Monday following a three month undercover investigation by the Florence County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies in Florence County say complaints from local residents and the Coward Police Department prompted the arrests of David Wilson, 35, Steven Welch, 35, and Tony Welch, 38, all of Coward.

Wilson has been charged with three counts of distribution of crack cocaine and one count of the sale of a controlled substance. Steven and Tony Welch were also arrested and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.

An investigation continues with the Florence County Sheriff's Office, as deputies add more arrests could be made.
