JOHNSONVILLE, SC (WMBF) - The Florence County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in tracking down a suspect believed to be tied to a Sept. 30 shooting in Johnsonville.

Investigators say Detainer Lashon Davis, 29, of Johnsonville, is wanted in connection to the shooting that occurred on Liberty Street around 8:25 p.m. Upon arrival to the scene of the reported shooting, a victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Davis is described as a black man with dark hair and brown eyes. Investigators warn he is to be considered armed, dangerous and should not be approached.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Davis is asked to contact the Florence County Sheriff's Office at (843) 665-2121.  Those who wish to remain anonymous have the opportunity to do so.

Officials say CrimeStoppers of the Pee Dee is offering an undisclosed reward for information leading to Davis' arrest.
