MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A big announcement from the Myrtle Beach Pelicans on Thursday could bring good news to the Myrtle Beach area, according to a team spokesman.
While details are limited at this time, officials say the announcement will have a "large economic impact" on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Myrtle Beach and Horry County.
The announcement will be made at the BB&T Coastal Field at 2 p.m. Thursday. Present for the announcement will be the executives of the Pelicans, City of Myrtle Beach and Horry County officials and Carolina League President John Hopkins.
