At any moment during daylight hours, more than 600,000 people are using a cell phone while driving, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. That’s about 1 in 10 drivers. It has led to more than 3,000 deaths attributed to distracted driving, according to National Occupants Protection Use surveys.

There’s nothing happening on your phone screen, not even a cute photo of your kid, that’s worth risking a car accident.

“While you’re out there on the road, we want you to be safe,” says Ian Macguire of the Maguire Law Firm.
