    Even though her husband is deployed thousands of miles away in the Middle East, a Goose Creek mother creatively included him in the family’s Christmas card. Charlie Winter is an E5 Staff Sergeant for the U.S. Air Force who has been deployed in the Middle East since October. While there, he took his place on half of the Christmas card, holding up “Merry,” while his wife, Samantha Winter, held up “Christmas” from their backyard.
