Japanese face quake, tsunami with no reported injuries

OKINAWA, JAPAN (WMBF) - The U.S. Geological Service is reporting that a magnitude 7.0 earthquake took place Friday around 50 miles off the eastern coast of island of Okinawa.

Japan's Meteorogical Agency warned people of a tsunami to follow and urged residents to move inland away from the eastern coast. That warning has since been lifted.

Officials say no serious damage or injuries have been reported.
