GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) — Georgetown Memorial Hospital has again been named a Quality Respiratory hospital by the American Association for Respiratory Care.
Georgetown Memorial earned this by providing respiratory care services to their patients and community. The Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) program began in 2003 to help patients identify facilities who use qualified respiratory therapists in providing respiratory care for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cystic fibrosis, and other disorders.
GMH will be listed as a QRCR hospital on the American Association for Respiratory Care website at YourLungHealth.org.
Georgetown Hospital System is a private, not-for-profit organization. The system consists of Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Waccamaw Community Hospital and several facilities throughout Horry and Georgetown counties.
