Sumter woman charged with illegal narcotics distribution

COLUMBIA, SC (WMBF) - A 23-year-old Sumter woman faces two charges of illegal distribution of controlled substances.

Keyona K. Williams is charged with distribution of Hydrocodone, Xanax and Alprazolam. If convicted, she faces a fine up to $500,000 and 10 years in prison for count 1, and a fine of $250,000 and five years in prison for count 2.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and that he has assigned the case to Assistant United States Attorney Winston D. Holliday of the Columbia office for prosecution.
