
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - With the holiday season in full swing, so are the delicious and unhealthy treats to accompany it. Now, a fitness program is back in full swing to help shed the unwanted pounds.
Registration will begin Dec. 14 for the "Choose to Lose" health and fitness program aimed at bettering the health and well-being of Myrtle Beach residents. The 12-week program includes training classes, weekly seminars and weigh-ins, Saturday activities and rewards.
"Choose to Lose" begins with a Health and Fitness Fair on Jan. 9 at the Pepper Geddings Recreation Center. The cost is $30 for annual members of the recreation center, and $60 and $100 for city residents and non-residents, respectively.
Program coordinators stress space is limited to the first 300 participants. Call (843) 918-2280 for more information.
