ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - Dexter Staley scored three touchdowns in the second half to lead Williston-Elko to a state championship Friday with a 34-26 victory over Scott's Branch in Class A Division II.

But Staley scored on a 47-yard run on the Blue Devils' first possession of the third quarter. Staley finished with 145 yards on 17 carries. His last touchdown came on a 47-yard run with 25 seconds left in the game.
Quarterback Tamyn Garrick tossed scoring passes to Demetrius Facison of 30 and 41 yards.
Scott's Branch's Clarence Singleton scored all the Eagles' touchdowns, scoring on runs of 23, 43 and 11 yards.
