AIKEN, S.C. (AP) - A 36-year-old Aiken man is charged with murder after police say he stabbed a friend to death Saturday night.
Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton says 20-year-old Dancer Wayne Richter was pronounced dead at Aiken Regional Medical center after being stabbed multiple times.
Police charged Allen C. Tufano with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.
Witnesses say the two men had been drinking and rough housing Saturday in the front yard of a home. Suddenly, around 9 p.m., witnesses tell police Tufano pulled out a knife and stabbed Richter.
Tufano remains at the Aiken County Detention Center.
