HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Officials at Freestyle Music Park have announced they will be paying special tribute to pop music icon Michael Jackson throughout the weekend at the Horry County amusement park.
The park has set up a memorial wall in memory of Jackson outside of the park's main gate where guests and fans can write their thoughts and memories of Jackson. The park is also allowing fans to leave flowers, candles and Jackson-related material at the site.
Throughout Michael Jackson Memorial Weekend, officials say any park guest who wears a single white glove, a red zipper jacket or wears white socks with dress shoes will be admitted to the park for $5. The $5 charge ties into the "5" in The Jackson 5.
Make-a-Wish, a Jackson-supported charity, will also be accepted throughout the weekend.
