Restaurant Scorecard: Mice droppings, no paper towels reported, and two perfect scores

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - We begin this week’s Restaurant Scorecard with Gabriel’s Breakfast and Grill at 1012 U.S. 501 in Myrtle Beach. There were no paper towels at the hand sink.

Ready-to-eat foods, including rice, mashed potatoes, green beans, cheese and deli meats, were more than 24 hours old and not properly date marked. Inspectors also noticed the back door was not tight-fitting. Mice droppings were found in the cabinet unit holding the microwave.

Gabriel’s Breakfast and Grill received an 88 out of 100.

Next up is Buoy’s Beach Bar and Grill at 93 S. Ocean Blvd., in North Myrtle Beach. No paper towels were found at the hand sink in the dish room. A number of cold food items were also found being stored at improper temperatures

Buoy’s Beach Bar and Grill received a 90 out of 100.

Two perfect scores this week, one going to Krispy Kreme at 2856 U.S. 17 South in Garden City, and Subway at 712 N. Kings Hwy., in Myrtle Beach each received a perfect 100.
