MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Another obstacle was added for those driving down Ocean Boulevard Saturday.
City of Myrtle Beach officials reminded motorists of an ongoing construction project expected to impact travel times along the city’s main drag. Beginning Saturday, crews will be repaving stretches of Fourth Avenue North, between Myrtle Street and Ocean Boulevard, and on Ocean Boulevard, from Sixth to Eighth Avenues South.
The work will also include sidewalk inspections and smoothing out rough patches or trip hazards. Officials say sidewalks in the Market Common area will also be looked at beginning February 11.
