MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Hang on... the ups-and-downs continue with our temperatures into the weekend!
The warmer weather makes a brief return this week and you’ll notice the difference starting Wednesday. Still looking at a cool start but temperatures quickly climb through the afternoon. We’ll top out around 64° with the clouds on the increase. While we’re not looking at widespread rain, there will be isolated showers through Wednesday afternoon.
The better chance of rain returns on Thursday as our next cold front moves through. The rain turns heavy at times through the morning commute, moving out through lunchtime. Most of the area can expect right around 1″ of rain. We remain warm with another afternoon in the 60s.
As the rain clears out, the cooler weather moves back in. Mostly sunny skies prevail Friday, continuing through the weekend. Temperatures take a noticeable dip and top out right around 50° each afternoon. Expect morning lows to dip around the freezing mark again by Saturday morning.
