MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - With the winds continuing to remain breezy, wind chills again feel in the low 20s and upper teens across the Pee Dee and the Grand Strand Tuesday morning.
Despite the sunshine, even through the rest of Tuesday, the temperatures still remain cold, only reaching highs into the middle to low 40s at most. Thw winds will stay at about 10 to 15 MPH all day, leading to wind chills even in the afternoon still stuck feeling in the 30s.
A temperature turnaround takes over starting tomorrow! We feel much warmer with afternoon highs around 65° both days. The clouds continue to filter in, turning mostly cloudy Wednesday. The next cold front arrives Thursday morning and brings a more widespread round of rain. Most of this rain will clear out by sunset Thursday.
Behind the cold front, our next shot of chilly air moves in. Afternoon highs fall back into the 40s Friday and remain cool through the weekend. Morning lows tumble as well with a stretch of below-freezing mornings expected starting Friday.
