Deputies investigating after arcade securtiy officer was shot in foot, $6,000 stolen

ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) - Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating after an armed robbery at an arcade Thursday morning.

In a press release, it is said at 9:49 a.m. deputies were called to C and O Arcade at 23050 Highway 301 N. in Parkton for an armed robbery.

When deputies arrived, they found the security guard, 52-year-old Tyrus McQueen, shot in the foot. McQueen was transported to an undisclosed hospital and treated for his injury which is said to be non-life threatening.

Deputies say there were customers inside during the robbery and $6,000 was stolen from the arcade.

The suspects left the scene in a small white four door car with a Pennsylvania license plate.
