ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WMBF) – A man has been charged following a shooting in the Rowland area that left one person injured, according to a news release from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
On Dec. 29, deputies responded to the 300 block of Sylvia Lane in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies located a man with a gunshot wound to the left lower leg, the release states.
Ross Locklear, 33, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
According to the release, the shooting was the result of disturbance between family members. Locklear was placed in the Robeson County Detention Center on $25,000 secured bond.
