MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A stalled out cold front will keep the rain chances going as we move into 2019.
Unseasonably warm weather return Tuesday as our afternoon highs climb well into the 70s! Despite the mostly cloudy skies, rain chances won’t be widespread. We’re expecting just a few showers around through the day.
The warm temperatures continue the remainder of the week, climbing into the upper 60s each afternoon through Friday. Clouds will be tough to clear out with isolated showers expected again Wednesday and Thursday.
Better rain chances return to end the week as the cold front finally pushed off the coast. Expect scattered showers and storms, with the best chance through Friday afternoon. Any stronger storms could produce heavy rain and gusty winds.
Good news for the weekend forecast! The rain clears out and sunny skies return. Temperatures turn a bit cooler as we fall to right around 60°.
