Deputies seek suspect who reportedly robbed bank customer in Pawleys Island

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Deputies need your help in identifying the person who robbed a bank patron in the Pawleys Island area Sunday night, according to a news release from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a GCSO incident report, deputies responded to the South State Bank at 11039 Ocean Highway at around 11:15 p.m. The victim said she was putting money in the deposit drop box when the suspect pushed her against her car, demanding that she give him all the money, the report states.

Deputies say the suspect took the bag, which contained $788, and fled the scene.
