High school football player airlifted after head collision during practice

MARION, SC (WMBF) - An incident during a Creek Bridge High School football practice resulted in one player being airlifted to an area hospital.

According to school officials, a head collision occurred between two players and one player was unresponsive.

The player was airlifted to a hospital and was examined by medical professionals.

He is now responsive and might be kept overnight to be monitored.
