Traffic stop leads to seizure of over $400K in heroin

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Over 1,360 grams worth of heroin valued at $408,000 were seized by Myrtle Beach police during a recent traffic stop.

According to a press release from the Myrtle Beach Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop near 38th Avenue North and North Kings Highway on Sept. 18.

During the stop, the officers realized there was an active warrant for the arrest of Ivan Salvador Delgadillo-Diaz out of Colardo and he was detained based on that warrant, the release stated.

Officers then searched the vehicle and reportedly located a large quality of heroin.

Both Delgadillo-Diaz and a second suspect, Ryan James Lillemoen, were charged with trafficking heroin in excess of 28 grams, the release stated.
