MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Rain chances return this week as a cold front moves into the Carolinas.
Expect a few showers to return on Tuesday as some tropical moisture sneaks in. We’re not expecting an all-day rain, but showers will be around into the evening. Temperatures will climb into the middle to upper 80s.
We catch a break from the rain on Wednesday but turn up the heat. We'll approach 90 inland with upper 80s along the Grand Strand.
The cold front arrives in the Carolinas on Thursday and stalls out across the area. That will bring us a few days of afternoon showers and storms, starting Thursday and continuing into the weekend. Thanks to the added cloud cover, temperatures will hold in the 80s across the area. Rain chances will diminish towards the end of this weekend.”
